You must create an FTP account in PLESK for your domain before you can FTP into your site.

Qmail is a secure, fast and reliable alternative to the more standard Sendmail. However, where CGI scripts are concerned, Qmail emulates Sendmail as much as possible so alterations to scripts should not be required. The path /usr/sbin/sendmail should work.

Yes! Access to a MySQL database server is FREE. You can set up a database account through the PLESK interface.
